One of the best movies ever. I'm amazed it did not win any major awards in '79.
Leslie's scene with Abigail is ridiculously hot.
In 2016, it was re-released on blue-ray and this month on 4K UHD.
I love this film.

In those days, the scenes were shot on 35 mm or even 70mm to have good resolution on a big theater screen. Way more resolution that the early VHS format used in the late 80's and early 90's. That's why we find some films from the mid 70's which are way higher resolution and quality than those from a decade later. We depend, of course, on someone having the equipment needed to transfer 35 mm or 70 mm film to digital format and being kind enough to post their product.
